The Slim Dusty Centre and the Mayor of Kempsey Shire hosted a lovely morning tea on 13 April 2021.
Members of the Kempsey community visited the Slim Dusty Centre to celebrate the contribution that seniors make to our vibrant community but also a demonstration of opportunities available to seniors throughout the Macleay Valley.
Attendees were greeted with morning tea including yummy cakes and slices and treated to a guided tour, alongside Kempsey Shire Mayor Liz Campbell, of the current feature exhibit Black Cummer and Beyond in our famous Nulla Nulla Gallery.
The 2021 Macleay Seniors Festival, runs from 13 to 24 of April, and this year’s program is filled to the brim with opportunities to learn or try something new.
