The Slim Dusty Centre has a range of options for functions and events, including the large Mates Room and the Nulla Nulla Regional Gallery, for your company's next meeting or special event. We can also host evening events and concerts in the centre.

Mates room capacity:   

The Mates Room is our largest events space. It is within the museum and is a dedicated closed area that can be configured to your needs. It is a large room with a stage. The capacity options are:

120 seated, round tables with black tablecloths and black seats

200 theatre style, row seating

Technical Equipment Available: 

  • PA System  
  • Projector w/ HDMI cable  

*Please note if your event requires extra technical assistance, we work with a production company at an extra cost  

Nulla Nulla Regional Gallery

The Nulla Nulla Regional Gallery area within the museum is a unique location for small events. It is available in the evenings. Costs vary depending on the event type, amount of people, length of time and serving of alcohol.

Catering Options 

Key Cafe look after catering for events at the centre, please contact them directly for menus and pricing. 

Accessibility  

  • There are accessible parking bays and drop-off zones
  • The centre is mainly flat and level ground. There are wheelchairs and walkers available should you like to access them
  • Once inside, the building is accessible with no stairs, wide doors, flat ground and resting spots around the centre 
  • Large doorways with colour contrasting door frames and trims 
  • Adequate lighting 
  • Drinking water and shade for guide dogs outside
  • Display cabinets at differing heights 
  • Clearly marked accessible emergency exits 
  • Accessible toilets that are unisex and can be used by people with a disability and their carers
