Centre Opening Times

Welcome to the Slim Dusty Centre! The building including our visitor information centre, retail shop, art gallery and the famous Slim Dusty Museum. Our standard opening hours are below. Please check our website prior to your visit as we occasionally close or change our hours to accommodate special events.

Tuesday to Saturday    10:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday                         10:00am to 2:00pm

Closed on Mondays and Public Holidays.

Closed on Good Friday 7/4/23

Planning your visit

There is a lot to see and explore and Slim Dusty Centre from beautiful outdoor gardens, to the famous Slim Dusty Museum, art exhibitions, and our Gift Shop and Cafe. We can also help you with information if your visiting our area!

We recommend you plan your visit and allow enough time to fully enjoy your experience at the centre prior to our closing time.

Parking

The centre carpark offers ample parking for standard cars, caravans and can even welcome the occasional truck on our large front lawn area.

Access

Its a bit of a walk from the Carpark to our building entry, however, its mainly flat and level ground and we have wheelchairs and walkers available should you like to access them. Once your inside, the building is very accessible with no stairs, wide doors, flat ground and accessible facilities.
